Public performance VHS/DVD copyright site licenses are required for all student associations and campus organisations .
All non-educational VHS/DVD film presentations occuring in schools, colleges and universities (student association offices, bars,
restaurants, dormitories, etc...) must be licensed.

One time viewing
(Small Festivals, Reserves, Special Events) If you are screening the film in a commercial capacity, i.e. charging admission the

According to the Canadian Copyright Act, all public presentations of copyrighted VHS/DVD movies must be licensed.
All viewings outside the home and/or within public organisations (educational, business and government) require a license
granting specific authorization. Without obtaining the proper license (s), you or your organisation may be in violation of the
Canadian Copyright Act and subject to substantial civil and/or criminal penalties.
